The licensing section of the health and aged care departments had refused to acknowledge my registered material despite repeated requests to do so. It was time to turn on the pressure. The health minister in Queensland had formally referred my concerns to the federal minister, the president of the AMA had written to the minister for health and I had written personally to both aged care and health ministers. I received a reply to my letter to the minister for aged care which was similar to that I had received previously.
